Belle and Sebastian Write about Love, out October 12th, is the eighth studio album from my most favouritist, quirkiest indie group around. I'm excited about this one because it has been produced by Tony Hoffer who also collaborated on their last album In Life Pursuit which is a great album. If you haven't heard of these guys at least get your hands on Dear Catastrophe Waitress which is my favorite album from them
The Audreys have announced their third studio album Sometimes The Stars due October 8th and I could not be more impatient! This album is said to be a complete overhaul of what we would usually expect from this country/blues/roots band. Sometimes The Stars is influenced by their mad travels around the universe and feature some amazing musicians such as Tripod and Michael Barker of The John Butler Trio. I think it might be a bit magic but I am waiting in anticipation for this and the possible tour that goes with it!
